Finlay is a third generation professional wrestler from Belfast, Northern Ireland. His full name is David Edward Finlay Jr. He was born on January 31, 1958 in Belfast, Ireland and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.

Finlay is one of the toughest men to have ever stepped in to the ring of WWE. His entryline “I love to fight” is proof of that He has competed in many hardcore matches and was also involved in many intense brawls with wrestlers like Bobby Lashley,Batista and many others.Finlay brings a shillelagh along with him which he uses as a weapon against his opponents..

He currently wrestles on the SmackDown brand of World Wrestling Entertainment. He has held both the WCW World Television Championship and theWWE United States Championship.
