In WWE, Matt Hardy gained popularity in the Tag Team Division with his brother Jeff Hardy for their participation in the Tables, Ladders and Chairs matches. As a tag team wrestler, Hardy is a six-time World Tag Team Champion, a one-time WWE Tag Team Champion, and a one-time WCW Tag Team Champion.

Apart from his success as a tag team wrestler, Hardy has won numerous singles championships, including the Hardcore, European, Cruiserweight, United States and ECW Championships once each, the latter of which was his first World Heavyweight Championship.
